So delighted to see the new additions to your collection. Though I have commented on just a few, I feel they are all super, and you should be very proud. I am especially drawn to this one. You have skillfully captured the details, the shadows, and the ruins against a vivid blue sky with such precision. I am especially moved by this painting, because it renews in me a wondeful memory from many years ago...sipping Frascati wine and enjoying real Italian pizza just footsteps from the Colosseum. I was so mesmerized and unable to truly believe that I was actually there. Thank you for the memory and for your exquisite interpretation of this historic site.
This is supposed to be a commission for my grandfather Vincent Pagley. Everybody has been fascinated by it. I'm so glad you all love it. :) I'm sure my grandfather will love it when I give it to him.
